Judging from this photo, it appears to be clean and well maintained. Also, note the 3 straps holding the fuel tank. I am guessing this is for extra safety? What is the truck powered by and how many gears does it have?

I would try and see if they one with lower mileage or wait until one comes aval that has low mileage. But if your heart is set on that one, you have my blessings.

they don't sell them untill they are to the point of where they need motor work so if you buy it make sure you budget a motor rebuild in the purchase price. Personally I think you can do allot better

I agree with MM 100%....These big companies don't sell a money making truck very often. When the repairs start getting high, they ship them out the door.

Normally I would agree with MM & Mulie, that most company rigs are ragged out when they get rid of them. But Wally World is a strange duck. I did some A/C and control work for them in the 90's and they would scrap a whole store's mechanical system if the bean counters could show them it made them money. A lot of these systems were less than 5 years old and in warranty. Once the warranty was gone so were the old A/C's. Normally would do a few test stores to prove viability and if true they would implement it system wide. I guess when you have 20 cents of every retail $ spent in America you can do that. Have no idea about their used trucks. From the reports on here they don't hire any cherry pickers to gut their trucks engines and trannies. They may just make for money by replacing the fleet. If you could get a good mechanic that you trust to go over it and he says ok and the price is right it could work out for you. But I wouldn't plan on going after Wally if anything craps out on you. Good luck.

After reading BigD's post,I will have to make a reversal of a Custer decision.lol.

I DON'T have any experience with Walmart ,but as BigD says, they are strange ducks and they may get rid of good equipment just for a tax write off.I can say that I've never seen one of their trucks looking shabby nor have I ever seen one broke down beside the road.
