2009 Paccar Kenworth T800

My company that I work for just bought a 2009 Kenworth T800, I have a few questions...

What I know about the truck that you may need to know in order to help about these questions.

Paccar Caterpillar 475, 10 speed trans, GPS Navigation.

1. Where would the clean air Paccar sticker be located?

2. I know the company can track me through the GPS and can see where I'm at and my speed at any given time, but can the GPS record my location and can the company see what I have done three hours ago?

3. The truck will shut off after 3 minutes of idling, I have tried to set the throttle higher with no luck of staying running, is there a way to fool the computer that controls the shut down?

I believe the clean air sticker would be right on the hood. If yours isnt the engine may not be "clean idle" certified. I have seen a few Volvo's with the sticker, they were very apparent. I thought that only Volvo and Mack were cerified right now, but im not sure. As to overriding the "anti idle", I was told you need to turn on the cruise, run the idle up to 1000rpm, then hit set. Thats all I can tell you!

I remember the dealer saying it was???

I'll have to check with them and see if it is.

I'll try seting the RPM's at 1000 and see if that keeps her running.

Thanks

I was told this same thing from a shop that works on heavy trucks. He also said that if that didn't work to look in the owners manual that it would be in there.

Exclamation

Cat has not released the Clean Idle strategy as yet. Supossed to be available 3rd qtr 2008. Check your valve cover sticker to see if you have a 49 state engine or a 50 state version. A 49 state engine can be reflashed to a 50 state engine, but a 50 state cannot be set back to a 49 state engine.
