Any info on this truck (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated! From all of the research I have done so far, this seems to be a well rounded truck over all. Please help prove me right or wrong.

cost is cheap. quality is okay. fit and finish could be better inside but for the money it's a decent truck. better then a freightshaker. don't turn real great though

not perticularilly. we run them offroad at oil rigs quite a bit and they hold up pretty well. if you buy something new that has the new emission motors with the dpf filters then they will be the problem but nothing international specific

Definitely not looking at the new ones. My wife and I had three 08's last year and could not keep them on the road. They just had infinite problems. Which brings us to find a slightly used well rounded truck. We had supreme luck with a W9, but it was quite cramped for the two of us, so we are seriously considering the 9900 with the cat-acert. Thanks for the good info!

personally I'd go back to a 03 or older but I know not everyone can do an older truck.

there is a forum sponsor here who builds gliders, you can get a new pete or freightliner with an remaned older motor for less then a new one

I think the 9900ix is a damn good truck, a lot of room, i like the sleeper lay out, shelving etc. I drove one and it turned a hell of a lot better than my W9. It is a bit louder inside than my KW but it was not bad at all. If you like the W9, then look into a 86" studio perhaps.

I would love a studio W-9, but they are quite heavy and we run reefer. Also are a little pricey for the newer models. and the 9900 still has a little more headroom. Actually in response to medicine man I think I am going to check into the glider kits a little more. I am looking at 05's to 07's because these are the trucks that had decent fuel mileage before the change overs. I had some of the 08's with the dps systems and there is just to many bugs in them to try out anymore. Thank you both for the good info.

that's the only way I'd buy a new truck right now. If I could do it I'd go for a single turbo cat or a series 60 detroit and an 18 speed
