| Anyone have any idea of any one in Texas that can lengthen a frame? I have a 265" WB W900B I want stretched 48". Also thinking about swapping out my 60" flat top for a 36" flat top sleeper. Then from there I want to add a custom hood to use the 70's style headlights and add on some fiberglass rear fenders. Might even go to low profiles and drop her down a bit more. Just not sure what all they do to make them low riders. Figure it can't hurt with flat bedding and it sure would be pretty. Then again may leave the W900 alone and do all of that to an old 359 Pete if I can find one cheap. |

| Can anyone tell me a good wheel base for a 379 with a 63 stand up on it? I was thinking of putting it out to 305" to 310" but some say to stay at 305" or shorter for best ride. |

| I would like to have mine at around 290, just go to the truckpaper web site and look at the trucks on there for sale. There is about every wheelbase you can think of for sale on there to look at, thats what I did the other night when I was bored |

Here is mine. 63 inch stand up no fairings 310 wheelbase. Rides like a caddy. I would not even heitate to go out to a 310. The longer the frame the smoother the ride. [/IMG] |
