let me try and adress a few of your questions.
build the tuck to the kind of frieght you are going to pull. you can get a long wheel base base into just about anywere if you are carefull. my 138" sleeper was only 800 lbs heaver than my 63" sleeper. the fram streach will be about 10 lbs an inch. the gen set will be about 400 lbs. so the total added weight will really depend on what you build. and what you start with. really think about it befor you do it. you should be able to build and strech for about $60 k if you do some of the work.

Hi, Thanks everyone for the responses..

It's been quite a long while since i've been on here reading and what not.

I ended up getting a Maroon Freightliner Cascadia with a 144" sleeper on it.. In fact if you get a chance holler at me when you see me on the road.

Driving it really isn't much different from a regular truck, tho it is longer and slightly heavier. I've had no issues "YET" with parking.. ok.. that's a lie.. lol.. The Flying J in Dallas, Tx is the only place I have a problem.. I just don't trust other drivers to park next to me.

Anyways, thanks again and be safe.

P.S. im pretty sure you've seen the truck,, if not you will..
