I love the look of the Coranado but never drove one. The classic XL is very nice and very mechanic friendly. But for some reason I love that Kenworth all models.

Volvo VN670 or 780 with a D16 550 for safety and aerodynamc efficency reasons. I have hard when grossing to 80K a Volvo can save you more money than a Pete. I love the looks and interior of the Volvo. They may be expensive, but in the end you will save a lot of money.

I Vote For Volvo Too!

Volvo has the best ride of any heavy duty truck I have ever experienced. I like the looks of it and the interior is well thought out especially the dash. The set back axle makes maneuvering much easier too as compared to the normal set forward models of the other makes.

My brother in-law who likes Internationals said if he were driving right now, he would want a Volvo for the safety factor and ride factor. The thing I like about Volvo is that they know what a trucker wants ie a table that converts to a bunk, a sink with water and comfortable seats. In addition to the sleeper, they place the trailer brake and tractor brake in a practical location whereas in some other trucks you have to extend your right hand or arm in order to reach those brakes mentioned above. The only truck brand I like is the International Prostar or 9400I. I have yet to see a Cascadia so I can not make a fair opinion on that model.

Volvo FH16 660. Great drivers comfort including I-Shift, a big engine (6 cylinders, 16 litres and 660 hp).
With 25,25 metres and 60 tonnes it carries a lot of respect...

To me a Kenworth T660 has a better ride than the newer Volvos. I can't explain it. The Volvo has this slight forward to backward motion while the Kenworth did not. Same engine and rear axle ratio in both. Kenworth had a 18 speed and the Volvo had a 13 speed. In only 7 months of driving The only brand of trucks that I have not driven was a Sterling. I also drove a cabover from Brazil and another truck from South Korea.

My order would have to be any Paccar product, then it would be a Western Star. The Western Stars are so simplistic that they are nice.

HIDIVE, we need pictures of your rig. I do like the looks of the Sterling and Western Star but never have driven one. How do they drive?

I drove a Western Star 4900 EX a while back.... loved it. Ride wise, it's just about a wash between it and a Pete 379.
