| Any luck finding your parts? Could you tell us a little bit about what your dad hauls with the trucks? How many he owns? |

They've got fairing for one 8600, he's gonna buy that one and keep hunting for 3 more sets. He's hoping this will improve fuel mileage. The 8600's so far have barely gotten 6mpg and we think its mostly due to the gap being too big. His previous trucks (2003 international 9200's) got 8mpg+ hauling the same loads. Dad's a US Mail Contractor, hauling mail for the USPS. He's got 2 9200 internationals and 4 8600s, all day cabs. The USPS supplies the trailers. My uncle and I are in the same business. My uncle has 11 trucks contracted to the USPS, I've just got one so far. I tried working for dad for awhile... but ya know how workin for family goes. I ended up buying one of his trucks and getting my own contract. |
