OK, I'll play mean ole mom and get this topic back on track -- all you kids -- back to your rooms

Oneshot and Triplesix basically answered your question, but in my experience driving as a team driver (keepin it clean ), the lousy state of the pavement on our highways makes it really tough to sleep going down the road and in some places (OK City for one), it is virtually impossible. Eventually, you will get tired enough that you will sleep through anything and you will sleep. However, I found a couple of things that helped. First of all, we got an egg crate foam mattress pad and put it UNDER the mattress. This helped absorb some of the bumps and kept you from 'bottoming out' (don't start ) when you hit those large bumps going down the road. Second, we splurged and got a memory foam mattress topper to put on top of the mattress. Don't buy the really cheap ones, but you don't have to buy the really expensive ones either. You can pick up a inch and a half topper for around $45 at Wal-mart or Target. The two inch ones cost $10-$20 more. You will kind of sink into the memory foam and it will keep you from jostling side to side while going down the road. Finally, a pair of earplugs so the CB and/or radio don't bother you and you should be able to get some sleep while going down the road. It will take some time to get used to sleeping while the truck is moving, but be patient and you'll adjust. Good luck.
