| turbo for a 3406e I have a 3406e 1lw with a pdi stage 1 ecm and turbo. It runs well, but i miss the bottem end grunt the factory waste gated turbo had. This turbo has great power from 1400 and up. Is there another option that will give me lots of air and still give me that factory responce?? I put my stock or-7223 turbo back on but it runs up to 1100-1150 on a good pull. |

| Thanks for the replys guys. I think i will run the stock turbo for now, it does a perty good job. I just don;t know for how long, it;s pushin 37-38 psi of boost. I was also thinkin i could get a wastegated exaust housing for the pdi turbo and try that. |

| Its pretty much any part of the driveline. You can't just say its one particular part that limits torque. A great driver will be able to have a high torque motor and make the stock driveline survive. He can accomplish this by not applying all the torque in the low range of the tranny when taking off and gentle getting into and out of the throttle the rest of the time.

| thanks,i've got a 475/550 w/ 1850 rated 10spd and i saw ecms for sale that were set # 601hp/2050 tq. i was trying to figure out if i can't get the same hp,but less tq by having the ecm flashed. i don't want to have the figures set too high as i will not be driving the truck all the time myself. |
