rv a/c heat units and generators/apu alternative

any one interested in this? i have a rv gen set on my truck, gas powered, and a roof top ac/heat unit . works great and it is saving me a lot of money and agavation.

Hate to burst your bubble, but do you think a gasoline tank right below the exhaust is the safest? Plus, you need placards and permits to carry gasoline like that. Hope the DOT don't see that.

way wrong answer

read the hazmat book no permits or placards required for the required amount of fuel

it's just as safe as any car the guy i know that has this seup is much safer

the guy i know has a set up rv unit on the roof a 3000 watt honda remote electric start gen mounted off the frame

and a 23 gallon race car fuel cell mounted between the frame rails behind the cab

legal ....... much quieter virtually no vibration, 150 lbs lighter and cost less than $3000 and mucho less maintenance to boot
