I have a friend who started with US a few weeks ago and will probably upgrade to his own truck in a few days. I plan on going to US in January and my friend and I are going to team for a year or so and maybe longer depending on how it goes. We are recent graduates from school also and so far he is liking US very well. It's never a perfect world, but so far so good. We both went with PRIME after we graduated from school and did not like them at all. US is much better than PRIME. We are from Knoxville. Hope this helps.

I love the floating pay scale, just dont choose the per diem with US Xpress. trust me.
they probably have the least amount of training time by choosing hrs when most companies choose at least 4 weeks or 10K miles training before getting you own trucktruckin4u3788 Thanks this. -
Usx is a good job I've been here about 6mo the miles are regular and the pay is ok just if u can try to get something dedicated some times u kinda get forgot about running otr

tntrucker, just wanted to update you that my friend is on his 2nd week in his own truck and still happy with US Express.

I'm a newbie with us and they have treated me great so far. I did my training with one trainer and turned bad in about 5 days and they had no problem switching me to another trainer. Did my hours in 3 weeks and got upgraded in a day and sent off to get my truck. My Fm and disbatchers have been great and patient with the newbie here.
At the terminals the drivers have been great, also. most of the drivers i have talked with have been here for years. I think 18 was the longest. I have been steady on miles. My only complaint is they haven't found a team partner for me which they told me would be no problem. So far 3 months later still no partner. I hope to find one soon.xllxmrjohnxllx, truckin4u3788 and buddy_bill Thank this.
