Good deal DA.. I unfortunately, didn't get good news from USX.. Apparently because my license was suspended for more then 6 months in a 3 year period, they can't hire me until some of that time falls off of my record.. Smh.. I had my hopes and dreams set on this company and they are letting a two month lapse keep them from hiring me.. It wasn't even a moving violation.. I did however get an orientation date from another company, which is also scheduled for the 16th of July.. The starting CPM is way lower than USX, but it's a job you know.. Training is 6 weeks, and the orientation isn't paid which is 3 days long.. They don't pay for any meals.. CPM to start is 25 cent per mile.. The first 4 weeks of training is paid at $450, and the last 2 weeks are paid at $500 a week.. Not bad I guess.. Very depressed about this as I have read some really bad reviews about this company online.. Hopefully everything works out for me though.. Trying to stay optimistic..

Failure to provide proof of insurance.. I stupidly going against everything I believe in, put a vehicle in my name for a " FRIEND", and he was supposed to put the insurance on it.. Well a few months went by and I moved and went to the DMV to change my address on my drivers license and they couldn't even issue me another license because it was suspended.. So I had to pay $645 to get it reinstated, however I didn't have the money right away so from August 2011 to April 2012 it stayed suspended til I was finacially able to pay to have it reinstated..

I'm looking forward to it as well... I don't know if I'm more excited or more nervous lol, but definitely looking forward to getting on the road. A friend I met at CDL school got accepted today and will going as well so now I have someone to team with that I'm already familiar with so I'm hoping these next 10/11 weeks go by pretty fast so I can go solo and settle into it all.
Look forward to meeting you in Dallas! I have dreads so I'm not too hard to spot lol
