Trainer for US Xpress

Well the first week with this new trainee breezed right by. She has been through this all before so I'm not having any problems with her. She had gone through training and upgrade and the teaming, but had to take some time off. Because it was 6 months she has to do it all over again. She was a little rusty bet it's all coming back.

It turns out this new truck is due for a PM shortly. I guess it would have made too much sense to do it while it was at the shop in Tunnel Hill. I'll try to put it off until this student is done and I get another one.

Except for the time it took to swap trucks I've been running pretty good. Ran into a cancelled load in Corinth, MS. Then they gave me another load there that was already being picked up by another truck. Third time was a charm. Delivered that load last night early and am now sitting in the Moasis in Little Chute, WI. Picking up in Green Bay tonight and delivering to a couple Sams club stores. After this run we will be switching to teams and hopefully get a good run out west and back. Wouldn't mind that Anaheim to Tunnel Hill run again...

 

150 hour students do not have to team. 120 hour students do have to team.

 

I keep telling people that but they just don't listen...lol
