driver at about 2:30 today you pulled out of a spot next to the Ozark driver and hit his mirror. it was at the t/a Duncan ,sc near Greenville,sc. I was parked across from this and caught it on my dashcam. i talked to the driver and i emailed the video file to Ozark, if someone tells ya about this, the answer is yes your tractor and trailer number are clearly visible

Was the cops called? It could be a hit and run and a 1 year suspension if it was pushed. I'd say they didn't even know they done it if they were dumb enough not to look.

It was around 2009 a Swift driver hit my fender leaving a fuel island pull forward. The Pilot had it on video but refused to give me his truck number because that part was blocked from view even though he knew the fuel transaction. I still called Swift safety and gave them the fuel time and location. I'm sure it caught up with him.

Drivers think they can get away which sometimes they do. But when caught the penalty is 10X worse. It's better to just man up.

If it happened on the truck stop property they the property owners would have to file a report with swift doing a lot of business with pilot a scratched fender isn't worth losing a large customer like that however I would have given you a fre drink refill on the house.lol

A lot of times won't investigate on truckstop parking lots . They say incidents on private property are civil matters

Truck stop parking lots are not the responsibility of the owners. That's why they're always signs saying not reponsible for your trailer, truck, etc....

iwas just glad I couldhelp the guy out. there wasn't any damage except for a white backed mirror instead black, the mirror folded back toward the truck. so it is operable and not broken. I don't think needs to be drawn and quartered for hit and run or anything. as he turned to the right, he may have never realized the tail swing caught the guys passenger side mirror . I mainly posted this as a reminder that today a cellphone dash cam or security cam may be watching
