I hate solo but, I can't find a codriver. Three pro stars caught fire? I broke down again yesterday. Same thing engine shuts down. I make phone calls and nobody seems to care. I'm so tired of all this.

Call 423.510.3000 then press 0. Ask for HR. Talk to a HR rep about what's going on. Tell them you've gone into debt because you started at US Xpress due to these breakdowns.

Posses me off that the company doesn't do anything about this. Their forcing good people to quit.

After our ProStar caught fire and we were in a hotel for two weeks....they wanted us to go to Oregon and get another ProStar that was abandoned. Let's just say that turned into a cluster.

We called HR and b*tched. They got us a rental car home & a 2014 Cascadia with only 22k miles waiting for us.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I forget what caused the fire.

We've been here for a year now. Plan on sticking around for a year more.

One other piece of advice I can offer is even if your a solo driver....get on a dedicated account. Most of them are drop & hook. You will deal with different night & weekend dispatch people. Good $$$$.

Hound your dispatchers mercilessly to get you to where your partner is when he's available.
