US Xpress trucks are being pulled into the weigh stations due to our bad CSA score. I wanted to bring this up because some of things drivers were cited for shouldn't have happened....like texting while driving. Come on man.....put the phone down and focus.

Here is the link to the companies score:

So much for Pre-Pass, eh? Arnold has been getting pulled in a lot lately as well. Looks like we just went over threshold for Driver Fitness. We were OK in December in all categories. Last week they decided to scale my MT, guess they were checking for obvious things like seatbelt, etc.

Drivers don't care because they think they'll never get caught. The very ones that do get caught go right back to texting.Laws in this country don't work, ppl make up their own laws as they go.

They had better clean up their act or they could well be in danger of losing their authority. Reaching intervention level is never a good thing.

I hate to say it - but they're always the ones wanting to impede traffic for a .00000005 mph faster passing maneuver in heavy traffic.

Nothing worse than getting dragged into all the coops.

Speeding was the number one violation. I will not be happy if they drop the speed of the trucks.

I just got the pre-pass for the new truck. Will have to see how many red lights I get. So far so good. I don't really worry too much about weigh stations. I have no CSA points and plan to keep it that way.

    And put your seatbelts on...

Wondet what it was that put the driver oos for failure to obey a traffic control device. Looks like that was our worst violation in that category. I think they just need to start cleaning house. Vinsanity I wouldn't be surprised if they start routing trucks through a terminal to cut them back.

I worked for a company that moved Budget rental trucks around. They told me they had ten trucks going up to Georgia and they all blew by the Florida scale. DOT pulled them all over for failure to obey a traffic device. The DOT man put them all oos for ten hours. A cdl wasn't even required for that job.

If you click on a few links you can see what the violations were for. Some of those I clicked on had other violations.

That alcohol and drug basic should always be zero - but you're right, that unsafe basic is WAY up there . . .
