Yeah they still refuse to return any emails or anything so I think they're just playing games.

Ya it was all fun an games at first returned my calls, answered my emails then I think even before I opened my mouth there was some bait an switch in the works. Dont tell me you can not get a hold of someone at a huge company for three days and say, nothing to worry about just come on down we got you slated in for monday. After that always voice mail and no email answers. The only reason i got her on the phone was because her caller id on the computer said it was someone else calling because twice she called me the wrong name and said there is something messed up with my caller id it says you are someone else. Things happen for a reason so onward I move.

True that. She called me Wednesday to give me the excuse she gave. 3 days before I was supposed to leave. I had everything set up to go. Now suddenly nobody can answer their phones. Good thing I always keeps several hooks in the water.

I would avoid U.S. Xpress like the plague. My fiancee was hired out of the Evansville, IN area and reported for orientation on April 28, 2014. I haven't seen her since. U.S. Xpress is using the excuse that they have hired a lot of drivers out of this general area and they can't get her home due to competition for home time.

I call BS on that excuse!

Lol you haven't seen her since April ? That's US Xpress's fault ?

Sounds like she's a runaway bride. Sorry to break it to you.

I've never heard of "competition for home time" That's a new one on me.

We've been working at USX for a year and a half and have never once had an issue with getting home. We always get home at least a half a day to a full day early even. We live in Illinois which is right next to Indiana.

There's got to be some other reason why his fiancee doesn't want to come home to get married.

All teasing aside, if your girl wanted to be home, she'd be home. Competition for hometime? No such thing as far as I know. If they had that much trouble finding a load close to home (and they're not very efficient with deadheading, anything 1 to 2 hundred miles away is good enough), they could get her something that goes through home to repower to someone else. I'm not a huge fan of USX, but they were, with the exception of my very last day, very good on getting me home when I wanted. The last time they were a couple days late.

If she had wanted to come home, she would have been home. Do you know the name of her fleet/driver manager? Call them and find out the truth.

To quote Miranda from Sex & The City...
