I hate it but I can do it. I read a post of a guy that said he was 6'2" and he failed the duck walk because his hair hit the rope. So that had me a little concerned

Howdy Folks! I'm going to Markham, IL Terminal on Monday 15 Sept. I have been offered a dedicated route for Dollar tree. I am doing this as a solo driver and not a team. I also have to do a little time with a trainer because I am too far off from my last OTR gig. The Training thing doesn't bother me, so I will only mention it here as status point.
Now, My real question is: Is there any decent money to be made as a Solo Driver on a dedicated account with USX?
I know that TruckDuo is a team from out of Chicago...Maybe they can answer my question or maybe Big Blue can place some input on this question. I look forward to being in orientation in 6 days.
    Thanks for any in-put.
    Peace.

I wouldn't do the Dollar Tree account personally because of the tight backing and unloading I would have to do. People who have done it say you can make $1,000+ a week. The biggest plus about Dollar Tree is that it gets you home long enough to do a 34 hour reset.

    tigersroses1 Thanks this.

I was thinking about how all the Dollar tree stores I see around The Quad Cities have some really tight docks to negotiate. I also don't quite like the idea of un-loading myself. So, maybe something else will be offered once I am at Orientation. Those "be home just long enough for a reset" accounts sure don't leave much else to get done. Oh well, the job market being what it is, I'll do what I have to in order to pay the bills.
Thank You for your response TruckDuo.
