running team with you brother I wouldn't stay out longer than 30 days.... 21 would be better...
things that don't get under you skin now (it's not the big thing it's the LITTLE things) after 5 weeks together will have you rolling around on the ground trying to kill each other in the fuel island of a truck stop...... and being brothers you do know just how to push each other like no can

trust me I know.... I have a brother......

My advice is general trucking advice. Your first year will be difficult and challenging, no matter where you work. There will be many days you will question your sanity for getting into this business.

And there are those sunsets and sunrises that make you glad you did.

Let's just say I am not actively driving right now, but I am a trucker and am halfway through what I like to call a "Michigan-mandated break" from trucking. My most recent employer was Gordon Trucking.

Most company lease deals are all in favor of the company. You take on all the risk for little more than what you would be paid as a company driver. IF you want your own truck then get one from a dealership. its the best way to go and you have mobility which gives you leverage. In other words they can treat you right or you can take your truck elsewhere. You cant do that with a lease.

    TruckDuo and flood Thank this.
