I have been looking at the website. Can't find much on requirements. I got my cdl a in 2007. I have not used it. Anybody know if US hires with no experience.
Trying to get in the buisness

Millis Transfer would be better. USX is great for teams, but not so great for solo drivers. With Millis; after all training is complete and you're running solo, the average pay is $50K per yr.

After one year you only get a .02 raise which is not that great, with one year experience you can do a lot better elsewhere. -
I only made .36 cpm pulling hazmat/tankers OTR, but my annual pay added up to $65K annually due to assessorial pays. Some of the drivers made avg. $72K annually. I didn't make that much because I took unpaid time off on top of vacation to hang out overseas. -
Millis wants to put me through the refresher course. It's 500 up front. Anyone know if that can be waived

Most places will make you do a refresher or do complete new training as you have no experience after getting your CDL 7 years ago

Midwest-coast Transport has a 3 week course with no money up front.
Southern Refrigerated Transport has a 4 week course with no money up front. They also provide a hotel room during training and some meals. -
Yeah I actually don't care to re do the schooling. The reason my career folded in 2007 is because the day i got on my trainers truck he told me where to drive to and went to bed. I had no clue what to do. I kind of freaked out. So my biggest thing is the otr training. I want to be successful this time.
