Hey All,
My wife and I are going to orientation in Dallas on the 22nd and are really excited to get started. We both are recent CDL grads with our hazmat, and after we finish our time out with our trainers we are hoping to get on to a dedicated fleet. Our question is where do we find out about dedicated opportunities and is anyone aware of a good dedicated run to keep an eye out for that runs in and out of AZ?

Guess it's a little late now, but Old Dominion has team runs that go through AZ weekly.

Thanks for the info chinatown, but we have to get some experience first. I drove 20 years ago which doesn't count to anyone, and my wife has no experience.

Latitude, I PMed you.
latitude34az and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
I don't think it's going to be a fit, as if I recall they needed a pet policy.
I spoke to a Celadon team last week at fuel, they were on 49 CPM. They claimed to be running hard and stayed out 3 months at a time - but he had some fuzzy math going on for income. Why drivers feel the need to lie to me escapes me.
They'll need 12 months, but I'd inquire and apply at 6-9 months. 68 CPM beats 49 CPM - I'm just in it for the money. -
I will definitely keep Old Dominion in mind for the future.

Every driver we've met is doing good. No one ever tells the truth lol

The Celadon couple we met tried to sell us on their lease purchase. We would never do a lease but for fun I asked more questions about it. The more we learned, the more we learned how bad financially they were doing. Foreclosed him, begging Celadon to loan them money to fix repairs.
The most memorable thing about it was they had a bucket in the truck to take a ####. Yikes ! lolblairandgretchen Thanks this. -
