Look on the bright side. If you went off duty as soon as you got there you should have a fresh set of hours soon. Hope you got a nap in.

    naomipdx Thanks this.

Update... our new FM is really fantastic.... been running our butts off and always are preplanned before the weekend crew gets ahold of us <thanks god> .... Still tho, right now I am home on medical leave and hubby is out running solo and getting kind of jerked around. We did have me on a plane to come home (PNW) from where we were close to Chicago, then they got us a load into our home area... that prepaid ticket $$ just got flushed down the toilet... so we get home and they say the reason they load ran us home is so they could keep him close by in case I needed him here with me for medical/emotional support... BUT... the first load he gets as a solo? Right back out to where we came from in Chicago.... wtf? Really not having alot of faith in what the dispatch/load team tells you about what they are doing and why... I think they just tell you what they think you want to hear just to get you off the phone... now I am ready to get back on the truck... have been for 5 days and he is slowly limping back west in an effort to get us back on the road as a team. We ran dedicated first rattle out of the bag, but it required weekly visits to the NJ burroughs and stressed us out so bad with horrible GPS routing (yes we even had to be turned around in the middle of a street by the local police!) that we asked to be taken off the account. Also the FM for that acct was a turd. Then the 2nd FM we had was like a turd junior mentored by turd senior... so now we have our 3rd and it has been really great, but it's just this ongoing communication breakdown within the dispatch group that has us disappointed and kind of fed up at this point. Thanks for all your feedback, it is greatly appreciated! Drive safe :)
