Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has come from another company's academy straight to usx? Their pay is better than training companies plus they offer tuition reimbursement.
Anyone know someone who has or have any experience with this and what would have to be done?
We are a couple intending to drive team and there are quite a few things we like better about usx.
Thanks in advance
coming from another company's school?

US Express' only requirement is that your heart must be pumping blood throughout the rest of your body. 6 or 7 ad's per day on my local Craigslist and I don't ever see their trucks in my area.
Seriously though...chances are, with both of you being new, they WOULD be happy to have you, but you would both be trained apart from each other---so don't expect them to immediately put you together and cut you loose.
TruckDuo (or whatever their name is) are a Husband/Wife team for USX....they will be along any time to give you the inside knowledge. -
Yeah, I fully expected them to be the ones to field this question.
We know that we will be trained separately and are prepared for it. -
You know if a company foots the bill for your school and you get your license, and you dont full fill your contract oblagation they will come after you , there not going to just turn there head. Good luck with that.

Actually the only issue is you pay the full cost of tuition rather than you getting it taken out over a year-13 months, then getting reimbursed the second 13 months so that it's basically "free".
We fully intend to pay back the cost of tuition for our schooling, this is not some drivers trying to "scam" a company....if that's even possible with megas, lol.
The extra cpm at usx would do better to pay off our tuition, along with tuition reimbursement, than the hit we would take on pay at the other company in order to drive long enough for our tuition to be "free" -
I don't know how it works, so I may be speaking out of turn here. But, will one company pay another companies tuition? Either way, it seems you will be in a contract with one or the other. just my 2 pennies.

Just get your CDL and them pay them back any way you want to. They cant take it away from you after you have it.
