What is with the random, loud as hell release noise directly under my bunk?!
I wish I drove a freightliner. Maybe I'll get lucky and this turd will break down.

Be careful what you wish for. The truck may leave you many miles and hours from help. That's not easy on the bank account.

I just wish this #### thing would shut up so I could sleep.
Every 7 seconds a load pressure release noise happens below my bunk. I know my neighbors are pissed, but the "bunk heater" cooling fan isn't good enough for a comfortable sleep.

That’s true, once I was going south of Indio, CA, on a deserted strait stretch and my engine died all of a sudden. I was very happy I pulled over quickly and stopped.

After I got stopped I found out something shorted out the batteries and I had no juice at all.

I happened to think, if I turn my Cumming fuel pump on manual, and if my truck will roll forward, I might be able to get it started and go on.

I did so, them put it in 5 gear, released the brakes, for a few seconds it just set there, finally it started to roll forward, them I got it started, and I went on my way.

When I got to a shop I found out the parallel switch shorted out. Wow, was I fortunate it rolled far enough to get it started.

Could that be done on the modern day trucks?

    TruckDuo Thanks this.

Is it air popping? If so you're air governor is stuck. I guarantee you, the driver parked next to you is even more annoyed with it. :biggrin_2559:
