    Martin,
When i saw your post, all i could say was Holy ####. Martin, i remember you posting in the Flatbed part when you got that truck and was sooooo proud of it and all the work you did to it to make it look that good. I almost fell out of my chair when i saw your name and truck. i just can't beleive it. And the thought of it i use to work for those people back in the day.
MArtin, i'm so sorry about you and your truck. I hope you can get it back to the way it looked before those yo yo's did what they did.:biggrin_2553:

"there were plenty of drunks 30 years ago; most of the old ts's back in the day had bars attached Idiots have not just started this generation"

Good one, Pete. People made mistakes in "the good ol' days" as well, if I'm not mistaken. Being intoxicated at the wheel of a CMV is not a mistake. It's a fast ride out of the industry. If that "trainer" really is a million miler, just imagine all the crap he's gotten away with for the last 8 or 10 years.

Unreal. Good thing you were doing your laundry or you could have been in cuffs too, probably for good reason as it would have saved those "drivers" lives...... Hate to see this happen.

Tho there was absolutely no reason this should have happened to your beautiful Western Star, be thankful the damage wasn't more severe or catastrophic. I can only imagine the damage they could have inflicted, had they had a trailer still attached!

As to the USA Trucks "trainer",, I can only imagine all the alcohol-induced screwups that have gone on thus far, even tho it wasn't him driving at this particular time. His "trainee" is the HIGHlighted (pun intended) showcase "work of art" product of his trucking safety violations/deficiencies.

AS to DGStrong71's post... my response to that is exactly what nctrucker15 already stated.
And if you want pics of handcuffed perps so bad... go to your local county jail with your Kodak.

WOW, really!! Martin took photo's showing the bobtail backed into his truck which was obviously parked and your calling him a story teller. Are you the recruiter from USA that hired this upstanding pillar of society and put him out with an even more upstanding trainer?? Martin ran old equipment, made the best of it, worked his ### off to finally afford a brand new truck only to have these clowns back into it BOBTAIL just a couple months later and you have the audacity to call him a story teller.

It angered me on behalf of Martin when this happened to him but I'm even more enraged that someone would stoop so low as to call him a story teller when he's standing there with his years of blood, sweat and tears bent up by a driver who had no business driving. Were you at the bar with these two upstanding individuals?? What's your story Mr. Story Teller?? Martin has a long history on here, at least 4 years more than yours, has a lot more driving experience, at least 16 more than yours and has been an asset to people on here with his help and you have the audacity to call him names!! So what if there's no picture of the handcuffed pillar of society being hauled away, there's plenty of proof in the picture of the BOBTAIL backed into his truck at a 45 degree angle to prove to anyone but yourself that there was something wrong with this driver. Maybe he was busy with the other officer filling out an accident report at the time this pillar of society was being cuffed and stuffed.

I have no doubt that the accident happened. I'm just stating that the OP managed to get some really good pics of the accident but not a single shot of anyone in handcuffs to backup his claim. I'm just saying that I don't believe any alcohol was involved and I doubt that anyone was taken to jail over this fender bender.

You need to spend some time getting to know people before you start calling someone out like that. Martin has been on here for years, has never embellished anything and has absolutely no reason to embellish this story either. And yes if someone was in a CMV and had even a tiny fender-bender while having ANY alcohol in their system they are going to jail period.

And FWIW, I have never met Martin in person, have no idea who he is, wouldn't know him if he was sitting right next to me. I only know him from the flatbed side of this very forum and his years of posting on here.

    Sounds like a "call-out" challenge.
A wager would make it more interesting. Say,, all the additional chrome/accessories that Martin wants in the upcoming year... if you're wrong?:smt025
