At least you grabbed some out. Look at a stock like Cirrus logic that hit 40 dollars a share after being around 12 to 16 a year earlier. Its back around 20 dollars a share. Bulls don't last forever JFROG. 13 years ago people expected MSFT to come back after being knocked down by that anti trust lawsuit and the tech crash. Instead MSFT once more split their stock and very little has happened to the stock until recent. Now Steve Balmer announcing his departure has fueled 13 year highs for MSFT. Instead of being a fool and assuming that USA truck has ticked up by its own fundamentals you should ask yourself one question. What is really increasing the positive investor sentiment and how long will it actually last? Every bull eventually crashes. You are smart enough to know that once Knight announces the release of their shares back onto the open market the bull will start heading for a brick wall. I think I remember you saying you are in it around 6 something a share. You are up around 130 to 140%. A show of profit will hold it up for awhile but do you really think you can expect a profit in Feb 2014? What about april or may?

It wasn't the antitrust lawsuit that done in MSFT. Microsoft continually failed to see that technology was going mobile and cloud based and once they finally figured it out they were already too late and too far behind. Im sure the board asked Balmer to step down.

Chicago is a drop yard unless they relocated it from Blue Island and purchased more land. Roanoke was an ok terminal but would have been better suited located in Carlisle Pa. Spartanburg was a bargain to grab at the time that they did buy it. Original it was an CR England terminal/ training facility but the government started raising cane about how companies tested out and issued cdls. All in all it probably was the reason why CR England sold the terminal to USA Truck. Atlanta, Dallas and Carlisle are new to me. Atlanta, Memphis, Dallas, Carlisle, Chicago and Laredo are all in what I consider primary freight lanes meaning that they either have multiple interstates running through them or that they are located in a major city where as it would be stupid not to have a terminal located there. Roanoke, Spartanburg, Van Buren, and Vandaila are all bad choices to locate a terminal the are located in what I would consider Secondary freight lanes. A terminal located on a secondary freight lane are bought to save money and are located on an interstate but are in area where you will constantly have to drag your freight out of route to do drop and hooks.

We actually have a full service terminal in Chicago now and no longer use the Blue Island drop yard or the yard off of Damen Ave in Chicago.

I wouldn't call South Holland a full service terminal any more than I would call Denton a terminal. They are repair facilities just like Carlisle. W. Memphis isn't much better except they do have some dispatchers there.

South Holland has showers, a driver's lounge, a laundry facility, and a shop so what more is needed to make a terminal? Maybe a bar and casino?

I expect that 4th qtr earnings will be about the same as third. First qtr next year will tell me a lot. If the trucks are busting butt and moving my quess is 15-20 a share after first qtr earning are announced. If they continue like my last thirty days running have been. We are in trouble.

I know you know that the winter quarter in trucking sucks. Simone took over last february. So starting 1st quarter all YOY results will belong to him. If the results improve YOY over his previous results things will continue upward. If they don't. Well I don't need to tell you what will happen.

South holland has a shower, shared with the wash room. No safety dept, no training dept, no bunk house. Its just a dirt yard with a 2 bay shop and a driver waiting area. Just like carlisle. And if you didn't know it, carlisle has a shower too. But they don't let drivers use it.
