My truck will barely do 63 and I still legally run over 3800 miles every week. If it was any faster I might get over worked. The faster speeds would be nice though for passing but other than that it's no big deal.

Maximum "safe speed". Right... sure... which is why the majority of trucks that go that slow (or slower) are always in the way causing people to have to switch lanes. On question three, looks like they don't even want people to roll down hills lol. How fast do you have to go to get a call from VanBuren?

Yeah, if you roll down a hill your check engine light pops on. The progressive shift settings really have things screwed up as well. I tried to ascend a couple of fairly extreme grades since the changes were made and basically ended up at a dead stop in the middle of the road and had to back down on the shoulder. I'm constantly having to rethink routes now that I've typically always taken in the past. But anyway, they're going to get all of you at your next service.

Yeah, I can see that progressive shift settings screwing things up. I drove for a company for a short time that ran 13 speeds, they wanted us to use low rpms but they never set any limiters in the computer. At least on a 13 speed you can keep the rpms low, but 10 speeds tend to growl at you if you go to low on a hill. I am surprised USA called me earlier in the year asking me if I wanted to work for them again, good thing I wasn't near my phone when they called because I would have laughed my *#* off on the phone. I feel for you guys, but I could never go back lol. I'm home every weekend, make about 2x what I made at USA, and I can enjoy going the speed limits of most roads.

Drive safe and Happy New Year!

If they would quit playing around with stupid things like truck speeds, rpms, and idle times maybe it wouldn't take 2.5 days to change a flasher relay and they would have time to fix some of the things that really need to be fixed.

Also, they already have problems with the particulate filters because of the low speeds and rpms. So they decide to make it worse? Leave it to the suits to make the calls and its what you end up with all the time.
