I went through 3 trucks with USA Truck in a 11 month time span. My last truck, the reason I quit, had this thing where it would randomly not start. I ended up taking it to 3 terminals, (West Memphis, Van Buren, and Spartanburg). All 3 terminals looked at it and said they couldn't find out what was wrong with the truck so they couldn't fix it. I eventually got tired of being stuck in dock after being unloaded with a truck that wouldn't start and just quit. It got old fast having the consignee be pissed that I was preventing other trucks from being able to take the dock I couldn't move from.

My truck had the exact same problem and it ended up being casused by a check valve on the fuel lines. I figured out the cause when one fuel tank started taking substantially more fuel than the other at fuel ups. I reported it to the shop and got it repaired in about an hours time.

"Or so they say" would be the correct way to put it. USA Truck is about as FOS as a Christmas turkey.

Lol any idea if USA Truck still does that thing where a picture must be sent to them before they approve work to be done on their trucks? Like say you have a flat tire and are at a Pilot truck stop they refuse to get it fixed until the shop there sends them a picture.

They recently outsourced most of the road service stuff. When you call in a breakdown the call gets routed to a 3rd party outfit and they don't ask very many questions. You basically tell them you need a tire and they send someone out to change it.

you actually don't even have to call breakdown they sent out a qc message with the number to the people that handle tire issues

Just don't have a tire and marker light issue atvthe same time. God firbid you try to get the road side service to tell the guy coming out you have a top light out so they can bring a ladder and save an extra service call.for the company.

    Thomas0810 Thanks this.
