I got screwed every week ,something always was missing from my paycheck . Short run, lay over plus there short you on miles to and a lots of miles. 10-20 miles no bigge. But 50-100 on a long run is to much.

Don't blame USA TRUCK for short you on miles because it Is the same everywhere you go all of them do the same and stop complaining about every single thing it's a job if you can't do it just quit and go somewhere else and if you screwed every week i finally think the problem is you not the company. Driver, are you comparing your miles on your odometer to what they pay you? IF so, please not they don't pay the miles you drive, but typically what computer software tells them what the miles from point A to point B should be. Yes, you do get short changed. Can you do anything? No.

Yup, that's HHG vs practical miles for ya.
Just another point to remember when you apply for a new job - AFTER you put in that 1st year.Twicebit Thanks this. -
when I buy my food in the store should I pay 80%? If all trucks stop for a few days and the executives run out of T paper and the stores empty ,there will think about things.
Why there is no Union here? Just to save on the drivers back. -

Looks like another position in the industry will be open soon lol. This driver came with way to many expectations. When you go get your new non trucking job make sure you don't complain about the gas your spending to get back and forth to work on. Or hey if you get a good salaried posits don't b&$ch about working more than 40 and not getting paid. Welcome to the blue collar world.

Apparently he knew nothing about the job before taking it, or is just set on bashing USA. I've always gotten paid exactly what they told me the load paid. When there's been what I thought was a shortage of miles we've always worked it out. Yes they pay household miles which is a straight line calculation zip code to zip code. Usually runs about 8% short of actual. But that was understood from the beginning. They also don't complain to me or charge me for fuel or usage when I bobtail around in their tractor. So I guess it works out. Get over it...
Union? Hell no.. just a waste of money.Reycer and Thomas0810 Thank this. -
It's true that they don't say anything about you bobtailing around in the truck but it does count against your FE. The trucks fuel milage is calculated based on paid miles not hub miles.
