One time charges can be a B*&%$. When you think about it though accidents are one time charges. I mean its possible for a trucking company to go a whole quarter without an accident just not likely. So maybe since USA has made excuses for a long time for their losses they should start mentioning what their earnings would be without accident charges. Truthfully I'm not trying to sarcastic at all. It would be an interesting report to see upfront what any companies earnings would be without the accidents they had to pay out on during the quarter.

The key stats were finally updated on yahoo. The last report they had 8k in cash and now have reported 14k. So they managed to bank 6 more k. Does it mean anything? Heck maybe they really have millions more but by GAAP rules they can only report 14K. Who knows. I guess if wanted to really understand the financial state of this outfit we could do a balance sheet on our personal finances and follow GAAP rules and see where we end up.

Its up due to the expiration of the shareholders rights. Do you happen to know why they terminated it early? No its not because they have completed their turnaround cause obviously they haven't. Dare I say that they terminated it early because an acquisition is possibly in the works?

I see JB Hunt is trading at 74 plus today how many shares would JTA and Klatu recommend I buy? Also how long would it take me to make profit on my initial investment at todays current price? Also should I invest in JB for a short term investment or a long term investment I eagerly await your analysis of this thanks

Actually, I have sold it all at $16.75 took my profit and ran. Literally. I told my dispatcher yesterday that I was moving on, Parked my truck in the Romulus yard this morning at 0400, got a ride to the airport, flew to Laredo and started with another company. Have picked up my first load and am headed to Ohio, then CA.
Dont get me wrong. USA is a great company to work for, but I want to run 49 and Canada, not 6.5. I am an independent contractor, paid by 1099. Pick where I want to go and can make pretty good money doing it. And no, I'm not getting paid .98 cpm like lease operators. My current run is paying $1.45 pm.

    Thomas0810 Thanks this.
