Picked up a trailer in Baldwinsville today only to did that the brakes have to be replaced. Was to told to go to some Podunk place in Syracruse. Yup USA called, but nope they can't repair it until at least tomorrow. Sent a message to bdown and asked if I could take it to the Petro and was told that we "can't get repairs done at the TA's or Petro's" When did this happen? Just got repairs on a trailer a few weeks back at the TA in Colorado. [IMG]So now I get to sit (on my time thanks to the new bdown rule) in my time and wait until tomorrow for a fix. So what's up with no more

All depends on who else is around to do the repairs and what the problem is. TA/Petro has been charging way too much for shoddy repairs. We no longer us EShop and only pay them by PO or comck now too.

Sometimes these moves aren't really to save money but simply because the company doesn't have the money and is desperate.

....but then again why would we need them when we've got all this brand new equipment everywhere right? ;)

Seems like a lot of the repairs are on the new equipment. I like my old dependable machine, (2012 414,000 mls) it's seldom down. Maybe if you'd take better care of what they give you, you wouldn't have so much trouble.

It's the trailer. My truck isn't down. Maybe if you would quit trying to read between the lines reality might set in and you would realize that all we have is junk trailers. Not "lots of new" like you keep touting.

well maybe I just ignorant but I rememeber a message being sent out on the qc well over 6 and the months ago that we were not using TA or Petros due to the massive overcharges they were charging for the simplest of repairs,i do believe they still use them as a last resort when no other options exist
