Hi any and all USA drivers, I've been talking to a recruiter and the head of there Dedicated division. I'm set to go to Ohio for orientation on the 14th. I've driven locally here on Long Island for the past 4 years or so! Really getting tired/bored with P&D work! I did some Otr in the past, a few months with Maverick, same for Prime. I was told $850 a week guaranteed pay wise! Mostly drop&hook too?! Any and all feed back would be great! Thanks Also do the trucks have apu's and inverters like I was told?? Don't mine auto trannys either, I'm in a Mack with one now! Ha ha

I dnt about dedicated but I drove for them last year and they do have apu and inverters. They have a few autoshifts but they were phasing them out though. My only complaint was that they kept me on the east coast and in the northeast being I live in WV. I made good money and they kept me moving unless I needed a reset.

Um, OK! Well anyone else have any input for USA dedicated accounts in the NE? How is this FedEx dedicated gig? Am I spinning my wheels? or what?

I ran a couple loads on GA Pacific out of PA. Wasn't bad. I just don't like NE, but if you live up there Id consider that one. Light loads and made good money on those couple runs. I've been with USA 2 months and driving 9 months total and im looking at a few dedicated runs too.

Remember the $850 /week is gross without the possibility of making any more money. Most of their trailers have bad landing gears! very hard o crank up or down. Good luck

Well thanks guys for the input on USA, but called the recruiter back on Monday and passed on this wonderful opportunity!:biggrin_25521: I drive LTL for NEMF at the moment and used to drive a gas tanker last year, I might go back to that. The OTR thing is too dicey living on Long Island, parking, home-time etc. Crazey-out!

$850 /week is gross WITH the possibility of making any more money. The $850 is a guaranteed weekly minimum no matter how many runs you make
