USA trucks stock plummeted almost a dollar since 3... Celadon is up, Swift is down but only 2 cents. That is not good... A few cents, even 20 or 30 is fine, but 98 cents in such a short time span is not good at all... Unless some sort of shakeup is happening, then people will sale... Looking at the stock the last month, is did climb pretty well, but such a sharp drop is still troubling...

Don't know but it'll do the industry some good if those companies kept plummeting into extinction.

do the research, read the news. there's always news with stock quotes.

whatever goes up. must always come down. stocks are no exception.

people buy. price goes up. people take profit. and price comes down.

Maybe that whole ad campaign trying to hire experienced drivers didn't work out so well.

In my area, USA truck has, by far, the most ads of anyone. It's like these companies can't make the connection why they always need drivers. I'm sure in the coming years, we'll see many companies fail.

I'm told that in these huge companies, the office staff also get hammered on like the drivers. Apparently they can get a dispatcher's training certificate from a community college and get hired on with no experience in the industry at all. Then they are told to make the drivers run the loads, and putting the priority over the driver's well-being and such. So, yeah, there's that. I used to hate on them a lot, and there are some real turds out there, but I've sat and talked with a few who came clean on how it all goes. The guy at my last company was planning to go get his EMT license and move on in life.
