Hey panhandle I don't have enough post to pm yet but how did you like training. My fm seems excited that I'm interested in being a trainer,I think I know why too. But I really would just like to see some safer drivers. I seen one of ours go thru a scale in Md yesterday with his trailer door open what a DA no telling how long he had been driving that way.
Hope the dude that started this thread don't mind getting off subject. Nevermind he ain't been seen since may.lol

I got a question for y'all trainers..... If the driver your trainin' crashes does it go against you too? I know in cars when your trained the trainer has a brake pedal on his side so atleast hes somewhat in control.

Its my understanding that not only does that count against you but if they get lost or are late...pretty much all of it goes against you.

tiring!!! but it is well worth the money as well as knowing you are sending a competent (as can be under the circumstances) and courteous driver out on the big road
no it does not. my student got us 3 hours lost one time! LOL and had a backing accident and it didn't go against me

    DBL_TIME Thanks this.

Im lookin to start a career in trucking. Is USA giving decent miles or has the economy put a strain on that? Dont want to make a jump into something that is going to pay worse than Im gettin paid now.

I'm sure not all would agree with that, but yeah been pretty steady. I picked up a load yesterday in oh that del this morning in ny that was brokered to us from jbh, that was weird to me if freight is supposed to be so slow I'm sure one of their drivers would've liked that load.
