I'm going to have to rethink this career change I have been checking other companies. Seems like they all have bad points, some more than others. any thoughts?
-
BTW, did you just finish a year with them? What are you doing now?
-

Well, I called in around 12PM my time which is about 11AM thiers and the recruiter didn't pick up after I waited on hold so I just left a message on her voicemail.
I grabbed some zzzzzz's and I got woken up to a phone call by the company.
I have to call back tomorrow morning and hopefully the supervisors except my application and I will be leaving next week!
Anyone that has just gone straight to orientation and out on the road with a trainer have any tips I should know? What's the phsyical consist of? -
anyone recently go threw the drivers solutions and get on with usa? I'm scheduled to head to springfield mo on the 28. Getting an offer from usa trucking. After reading all this i'm not so sure thats such a good idea now though.

Let me know how that goes for you. I have a date for Roadmaster in Kansas City in January. I have been checking out some other companies as well. The more I looked into Drivers Solutions the more I realized that I wouldn't be able to swing it financially (rent and bills) being out of work. I can still work and go to Roadmaster.
One thing to note: my youngest son and I take walks to the hwy overpass by our home to check out trucks. We have noticed one USA truck in the last month or so. I don't know what that says, could be nothing. Lots of Swift and JB Hunt though..LOL -
Have you checked out their site. I noticed that they pay 30 cpm after the first year and then you get a 1/2 cpm raise after 2 years. If I remember right USA pays 34cpm after first year.
I would check out their sites and judge for yourself.
Keep us posted.
