Well thought i would stop in and update my experience with c1/driver solutions in strafford mo.

i just completed the 3 week course with c1. I could not be any happier with my experience there. The training was great, instructors were very good. Other then the weather being pretty bad and the hotel subpar everything else was above expectations.

The next stage is waiting for usa. I was told i would be going to van buran arkansas right after i complete the c1 training and obtain my cdl. But after talking with usa its actually going to be a couple weeks before any i can attend orientation. Won't know anything for sure for a week or so....fingers are crossed.

They still haven't paid him for the two loads he unloaded they are just slowly starting to reimburse weight scales and I do mean SLOWLY I think we've gotten 5 reimbursed so far and the hotel still haven't heard anything about that. This weeks miles were crap I don't even think he hit 1500 with the load that's due tomorrow. They made him come off his home time for Thanksgiving so he was told he banked a day for Christmas fleet manager changed his mind and counted the Wednesday before Thanksgiving as part of his home time mind you he picked up a load that day and drove back here from where I forget but he didn't get home till almost 10pm then he made him come off Christmas home time as well! I've been applying to other companies for him hoping something comes up because for .2375 cents a mile # 1500 well you do the math you are better off working some job that you get to come home every night. I understand he's a rookie & all but we have a family to support, bills to pay and that crap isn't cutting it.

I do wish the best of luck to you & KC & KC I'm not sure if it works the same way as you went through C1 but if you have to call in to schedule orientation make sure you call # 8 on the dot they fill up quick he missed the first two because no one told him that it was first call first serve.
