Glad to see they keep you moving. Like any other company. it will take a good couple of months to get into the proper freight lanes so you can keep your miles consistent. Keep up the good work!

I haven't heard a thing about per diem, so my guess would be no.

    I'm a little behind...

The last load I posted was the one right after Thanskgiving going to Fort Worth, so I'll start there. After I delivered that one, they asked me to move some empty trailers around. Then I picked up a load at Matel in Fort Worth which went to Newton, NC (pd miles- 1156.) From there, down to Laurens, SC to pick up a preloaded trailer going to Temperance, MI (pd miles- 747.) At that point, my 70 was getting a little low. They sent me to Mishawaka, IN the next day to pickup going to Mechanicsburg, PA (pd miles-706.)

I've had an air leak in the tractor that's been steadily getting worse, so after delivering in Mechanicsburg, I went to the yard in Carlisle to get it fixed. I showed up around lunchtime, and was fixed that evening. No more air leak.

Next morning, I get a preplan for Staples. Picked up that evening in Hagerstown with 3 stops in Columbus next morning. Then they wanted me to pick that up, take it to Valley Grove WV to swap with another driver, and take the other drivers load to Cranbury, NJ. I agreed, and they said the customer in Cranbury was asking for early delivery, if possible.

I got to Valley Grove, and it turned out the other driver thought he was getting an empty trailer and going home. Not sure how they worked that out, but I am sure he wasn't too happy. I hooked to his load and hustled on out of there. Showed up in Cranbury at 0815 for an 1130 appt. I wasn't unloaded until 1345. Let's just say if that customer asks for early delivery again, I wont be too motivated to bust my rump for them.

Next morning, pickup in Paulsboro, NJ whch I will deliver here soon in Beaumont (pd miles- 1471.) no preplan yet. And now I'm caught up!

Per diem USED to be at least 6 cents.

perhaps they stopped it by now, no idea.....

I've been with Glen Moore since July. Aside from one weekend stranded in Jersey when I was supposed to be in Atlanta, I can't complain. From what I know about other companies and from the past one I worked at, GM is a diamond in the rough.
