Since there's not much around here about YRC- GM, I figured I'd start a "diary" type thread about them. Though I don't have much to say yet.
I completed orientation last Thursday, and was assigned a truck right away. Truck was clean and in good working order. I needed to get to Columbus to get my things out of storage, and there were no loads going that way on Thursday, so I just hung out and relaxed until Friday morning. Picked up in Camp Hill, and delivered to Columbus (pd miles-370) Then I hustled down to Florence first thing Saturday morning to pick up a preloaded trailer which delivered in Breinigsville, PA this morning (pd miles-665).
I stopped for fuel yesterday afternoon, only to find my Comdata card wasnt working. I sent in a QC message about it, and it was fixed about 20 minutes later.
No preplan right now.

Delivered in Memphis this morning. Got there a little early, and they unloaded promptly, which is good. They had sent me a preplan with a really tight schedule. I actually turned it down at first, but when I got empty so quickly, I decided to go ahead and do it.
The load was dropped on the Holland yard in Olive Branch, MS and unloads tomorrow morning in Newport, TN (pd miles-457.) I was fortunate on this trip- nothing went wrong
My 70 is getting burned up, so the next couple days will need to slow down a little. -
Looks like its a good start for ya! How are they paying you?
-
IP, I'm starting at 43cpm.
The Challenger, platinum, ironpony and 1 other person Thank this. -
Planned on a load that will pickup this afternoon here in Newport and deliver tomorrow afternoon in Salisbury, NC (pd miles-220.) That oughta let my 70 catch up a bit.
