newbie backing up-

    Could anyone tell me the responce that the wheel base length of the tractor has on making the turn?

    great advice all! Practice is the key. I would also say that if you can get a truck(4 wheeler) and an enclosed trailer it would be helpful. But Notarps is right, it will get away from you easier, so keep that in mind. Its still good practice. I learned most of my backing skills ( and they are not great) on new home construction sites. These tend to be VERY crowded, especially townhouse or condo projects. The single most important thing I learned, GO SLOW! And dont worry about whose watching! Someone is, and most couldnt do it any better! Thats why they are watching you! Good luck, I know I still need it!
