Where do I get a HID conversion kit for a 2007 Volvo VN780?
Talk with some T/A service mechanics, they suggested I look on eBay but I cannot determine exactly which kit I need?
Does ANYONE know EXACTLY where to go to look for or aquire these, our stock headlights are just not cutting it, and I almost hit a dear in Northern MI. this last trip.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

Depends on city, when you get near somewhere to shut down, google car or truck accessory shops. Tell them your bulb size(9007, h1, h4, whatever) and only get them for your low beams, not your highs. The constant on and off, or flash to pass will kill the balast QUICK. They need to warm up, as they take 30,000 volts, high volt, low amp.

just to let you know IF you put them on THAT company truck the first time you are in the company shop you WILL BE FIRED..!

Are the lenses yellowed and pitted? I have a 2000 610 and renewed the lenses by wet sanding with ultra fine paper then buffing with compound. Amazing results.

I dont think you can do that on a Volvo. There is a thread on here somewhere about it.
Worst thing about my Volvo is them #### head lights!

Pay close attention to Pablo-UA posts on this subject. That guy has a wealth of knowledge on these trucks. -
It worked great on my 610. Almost bought new lenses but this solved the problem for me.

I'm wondering why someone would want to pay for a HID kit for a company truck?
Anyhow, just replace the lenses. They go for $250 a peice. -
Thanks! -
I do have a friend who installed those lights on his Volvo. At the Volvo shop they didn't even want to hear about the change. Then he went to a car garage and found a mechanic that did the job for him. He did some wire modifications but he did it great.
I drove at night that truck and there is nothing to compare with my truck lights. Those light are white and more relaxing for the eye. I want too to do the same thing but my priority now is a generator.
He has those lights installed since 3 years now and never replaced a thing. -
