    Adjusting the new hood...

I have a 2000 Volvo and got into a minor accident recently. I had to replace the hood, radiator and front bumper. I have everything together but the hood will not lock. Its a used hood from another Volvo. It is the same style and all. What are the steps or a method of adjusting the locking mechanism to lock the hood.
Please help, I need to get back to work soon.

U got the used hood, so lock pins may be worn ore locks were damaged. So start with changing pins on hood
