The Air Valve Unit supplies three different air pressures - 33 psi (warmhold) 110 psi (exhaust brake) and 14 psi(idle EGR), and is controlled by 3 cables- 12v power supply(gray/black), EPG 2 control(gray/white), EPG 1 control(gray).

I do not block supply line, I block line from valve to EPG actuator

Compression brake needs EPG to be closed to work properly? -
EPG adds about 10% of brake torque only when jakes are on
is your cruise working? -
Cruise is working. Don't get me wrong, my compression brake works without EPG (plugged not disconnected). My concern is if there will be any damage in the long run to the Compression brake system.
