Nothing so far?? 220kms and not a hitch. The whole truck has been great. An antifreeze leak that was a little persist and one traction control module. That's it.

In my conclusion I have to stay away from D16 unless I'm prepared to have a deal with injector, turbo and transmission issues. I really like to by 730 D16 500HP 3.08 ratio Ishift specs truck. Do you think that I have to switch to D13 engine?

Those are complaints you will find all over the internet and this site. D16 bad injector cups, bad turbo etc. Note the dates, they have resolved those issues. There is no substitute for cubic inches, better to have a overpowered engine and have it barely have to work than have a underpowered engine screaming the whole time. I am speaking from a merely mechanical stand point, fuel mileage isn't my game as no matter what at my weight I am screwed. I can tell you this much, I have a 2014 xe16 and with only 20,000km on it (not even broke in) I am getting better fuel mileage than any Truck that has ever been on this run and yesterday I was keeping up with tri axle log trucks with the cruise on in economy mode.

my Volvo is 455 hp Eco torque 1450-1750tq
with ishift
the Volvo will pull aas good as any of them and I live in eastern canada, lots of hills and until recently I worked for a company that routinely pulled 110,000 gross triaxels no problem.
I believe this is because the D13 and ishift are made to work together so well.

We were using Volvo VNL 430 day cabs with a D16 and iShift for pulling 63,500 kg Super B chip trailers at my last company. All were mountain runs with HARD pulls and those trucks ROCKED. I actually had to chain up less than the guys with 18 speeds snowy/muddy hills. I would buy one in a heartbeat.

I gross up to 80k all the time and no problem D13 455hp eco-torque I shift.

XE13 here with iShift.....I love it.
I do miss the power of my old D16 sometimes though....it is noticeable.
My old D16 was a good motor minus one EGR cooler and EGR valve replacement.
