really it is bad ABS sensor. TCU cant get rear axle speed data on J1939 and shifts with some delay. Fix EBS problems (MID136) and all gonna be ok) really no tranny problem_))))

    J1939 is CAN

If any unit misses any data on this line it throws J1939 erratic data code.

SAE J1939 is very popular data transfer standard and used by all truck makers all over the world.

J1708/1587 is slow datalink. Used generally for diagnostics. Volvo also uses it as spare datalink, but wont working with cummins ECMs.

Some European truck makers use ISO K-line for diagnostics (Mercedes, MAN, Iveco, DAF), but k-line is not used in USA for diagnostics and for example if u see MBE engine in freightliner - no k-wire is used, pin 13 on EECM is free, and no k-line wiring from ZF transmissions.

Ford also uses k-line on passanger cars and small trucks but as internal datalink.

Well, all is mixed in this world, it is just globalisation
