I Had same problem on my 06 volvo D12,5 months ago,,i checked with my local mechanic shop and they took off the plug and changed the o ring, but after two days its starts leaks again,,,so my last try was Napa parts store, they gave me black oil sealant and just took off the green plug round cover from outside ans cleaned with parts cleaner and filled with black sealant glue and waited 24hrs,,,Till today its never leaks again..Good Luck..

Mine on the DD15 did the same thing . Had to replace both wiring harnesses and 2 injectors ( warranty). But am going to pack the connections full with dielectric grease ! Should stop it from shorting?

If seeping oil thru wires only and best fix is, remove valve cover disconnect all injectors pull the wiring harness out thru the hole on the head , clean the piece what goes thru head , clean it really good and use epoxy to seal it wait 24 h to dry
If it leaks between head and harness , replace the o ring and make sure to use green o ring not the black

That is the part number for after 2003 volvos, the one that has a 4 wire plug to each injector, correct, Ray? Can you help me with a part number for the same injector harness but for a pre 2003 Volvo engine, the one that only has 2 wires to each injector. Thanks, Ray

I bought the harness you mentioned from the dealer, they looked up my vin and it turns out that the previous owner had an older head installed in my 01 and the harness with the part number 21625276 doesn't fit. Obviously the dealer can't help

Watch that the oil leak doesn't soak the ecm right under it and have to replace that also.

My injector harness is leaking also on my d12d. I am alright with it but it's soaked pretty good. Can it the oil really cause a resistance in the wiring and not supply the injectors with correct voltage?
