Next morning gauges worked fine but im still getting same messages

Under LCM i got same SAE J1708/J1587 but with codes MID 216 SID 250 FMI 2
Truck runs fine for now but those messages are drive me nuts bc then are comming on for no reason. Sometimes under breaking. Sometimes on cruise. You just never know when they will show up and go away
I checked fuses and wires and 2 fuses under driver door step. They are all good

You might want to check the wiring harness that has a twist lock connection near the firewall..thats where it is on my 06 volvo with volvo engine...all that rain may have made it past the seal on that connection..also check where the harness plugs to engine ecm.

IMO, wires 400-401 - Datalink twist pair is damaged somewhre on frame. Weak points are MCFC connector (cab-chassis), wires in right frame rail running to TCU, ABS/ESP and to TMPS.
Inspect wiring for damage, connectors for corrosion.Slow302 Thanks this. -
Ok Pablo ill look it up
Whats chances any of ECU being fried or bad?
Also now at idle or low speed less than 20mph mph rpm both temp gauges oil pressure gauges are going from 0 to normal -
You said your truck ran fine ,but has moments of problems..sounds more like a shorted connection more than a fried ecm..you probably wouldnt be moving at all with a fried ecm..in my opinion...Always start with the cheapest and easiest fix first.

Yeah its runing fine except dashboard us going nuts. Newest code i got are engine ECU sae j1939 out of calibration mid128 sid231 fmi13
Brake ECU sae j1939 mid136 sid231 fmi
I have checked for lose or broken wire under fuses under the dash in front of feed and on firewall that big wire connector and even opened that connector and no corosion -
Well since i couldnt find anything by my self i took it to volvo service and 5 hours later they said it was fixed like broken wire under dashboard. One sping around shop and all ecu lights show up again. So $545 went to drain

Well another 13 hours at dealer and looks like they found 1 broken wire behind motor and one at firewall
They also broke my headlight switch so i got new one for free and they mess up coolant sensor or connector and im getting Mid 128 Pid 111 Fmi 3 looks like wire shorted right guys ? -
ouh, additional problem. Look at coolant reservour, there is one sensor there. Wires run to EECU. looks like damaged wiring.

Pablo do you know where those 2 wires from coolant sensor go to
