Confused About EGR VALVE!!!

    Well as you know i drive an 07 volvo 780 with a volvo engine! lately I've lost a lot of power & my fuel milage has gone down! I went to buy the egr valve a few days ago & was quoted a price then they told me on my truck it had 2 egr valves? I'm confused because I went today to go buy them & now they tell me it has only one! I'M SO CONFUSED!!!!!

    Block that or them $&@&)(; off!!! My 04 has 2. Had them changed once at stealership for 2800 bucks. They said see you in about 100k. :biggrin_2551: Home depot a pipe plug and a clamp.

    Volvo D12 engine has 2 EGR valves.. you can weld them or something but with codes on your dash engine will have less power..

    If you are getting any codes, check which EGR valve is causing them and change this particular one..

    dont replace if you have no codes !!
