    If I had someone around to help I would have used them, but you only need someone for about ten minutes to help lower in down and raise back up. That's the only time I needed a third hand.

    Too funny, sad really. I called Volvo in Jacksonville,Fl yesterday about having the DPF cleaned on my 2012 Volvo 630. Quoted me $1500 to have it cleaned, and told me a new filter is $2780. So where did you have your filter cleaned at?

    Hill international in Pennsylvania, my filter didn't pass specs after it was cleaned but I put it back in. My problem was the after treatment injector needed cleaned the kit with baskets for it is $50. Call around and find any place that can clean it. Doesn't need to be w Volvo place. Good luck.

    that’s insane high. Rush trucks on moreland ave in atlanta gets $200 for cleaning the DPF, $200 for the DOC, and $400 for pulling it if you don't want to get under there yourself.

    Thanks for reply. My buddy had his done in Georgia, as I recall it was a lot cheaper than what I was quoted. Time for a phone call I think. Sure aint paying $2780 for a filter, that's plain crazy!

    I bought 2009 Volvo recently with 650000 miles on it. how to determine if the DPF must be clean? I run same route from GA to CA on the one way only two times regeneration appliesif I'm havy. Basicaly 5000 miles and 3 -4 times regeneration. Is it okey or it must be clean it soon. Thank you.

    Had mine done at Triple T in Rocky Point, NC They advertise $350.00, that does not include remove and replace. Total bill was $650.00
