No heat & heater exchange sensor code

    As title suggests. 07 780 with D12. Can anyone tell me where the sensor is located? It's not the sensor behind the four slats in the center dash trim inline with the 12v outlets and above the ashtray is it?
    AC works fine but I get almost zero heat.

    turn on the water valve for hot water to get to your heater core under the hood

    What?

    i have an electrical code. Nothing to do with coolant circulating around the heater core.

    Code showing on Driver Display is..

    MID 146 SID 13 FMI 3
    Electrical Fault, Heater Exchange Temperature Sensor, Fault Active

    i have heat blowing from the sleeper vents, just not from the dash vents.
