What is the procedure for adjusting valves and injectors on Volvo VED D12 d 465HP ?

    Hi, my mechanic is out of town and was wondering if I could check and adjust valves and injectors on VED D12d 465HP engine myself ?

    Can anyone post detailed procedure how to do this.. detailed please since I'm a total noob here :)

    but with adjusting valves, don't ya need the Volvo tools? my mechanic won't touch it for this reason, but can do everything else on the truck

    Nope. Only tool you would need is the engine barring tool. Everything else is common. sockets, feeler gauges, wrenches. Pretty straight forward stuff.

    hello is there anyway you could send me the manual for the d12 volvo just rebuilt it and need the steps to run the overhead thanks for your help
